College Experiences:
Thomas MacNeill-Zimmerman, D.C., CCSP, graduated from Springfield College in Massachussetts with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Sports Medicine. The humanics philosophy at Springfield College is about educating the whole person through the Spirit, Mind and Body. Springfield helps to direct graduates into fields that serve to the benefits of others. This philosophy was instumental for Dr. MacNeill and has helped him create the kind of healthcare office that focuses on helping patients reach their personal goals.
Dr. MacNeill was a Dean's List recipient, and was vice president of the Chiropractic Club. He was Captain of the Track and Field Team during his senior year and was honored to represent Springfield College in the 1992 NCAA Division II Track & Field Championships in texas. In 1992, Dr. MacNeill established a new throwing distance record for S.C. in the Javelin.
During his undergraduate career, Dr. MacNeill had four years of personal fitness training experience, and worked at the Newton Wellesley Physical Therapy Association for one year, as a physical therapy aide.
Dr. MacNeill graduated from the National College of Chiropractic (NCC) in 1996, with a Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree, a Certificate in Acupuncture and a second bachelor of science (B.S.) degree in Human Biology in 1994.
Dr. MacNeill was a member of the Rugby Team, Softball Team and was a contributing editor for the school newspaper "The Synapse." In 1994 he was selected to the midwest rugby football union's collegiate select team.
Continuing Education:
Dr. MacNeill recently completed the 120 hour post-graduate course from National University of Health Sciences, (formally NCC), and successfully passed a written exam to become a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician.
Dr. MacNeill is certified in Manipulation Under Anesthesia and matriculates at the Water Tower Surgery center in downtown Chicago.
"These certifications have increased my knowledge of sport specific conditions, and has assisted me in current research with sports medicine and manipulative therapies."

Mara MacNeill-Zimmerman, Certified Yoga Teacher
Mara's experience includes Ashtanga, Iyengar and vinyasa style of yoga over the past 12 years. A lifelong interest in health, fitness and a background in the healing arts led her naturally toward the benefits of yoga. Yoga helps you build strength, gain flexibility, focus your mind, increase breath awareness and enjoy stress relief.
